Due to increased residential waste volumes, Waste Management is asking residents in Livingston, Tangipahoa and West Feliciana Parishes, as well as the City of Zachary, to voluntarily stop or limit the amount of yard and bulk waste placed on the curb.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Waste Management is focusing its employees on the collection of household waste and recycling since collection is essential to the health and safety of the community. Yard and Bulk items will continue to be collected, but there could be a delay in doing so.

  • Bulk waste includes; furniture, carpet, mattresses, appliances, etc.
  • Yard waste includes: grass clippings, brush, tree limbs, etc.
