Waste Management re-starting trash collection on Wednesday

Waste Management trucks fueled by compressed natural gas (CNG) prepare for their morning pickups in the Camden, N.J. market. The Houston-based waste hauler, which reported nearly $14 billion in revenue in 2014, was named to the Chronicle 100.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge metro area and parishes near the Capital City should start to see Waste Management garbage trucks on Wednesday.

If you live in the parishes listed below, make sure to put your bagged household garbage and cans by the curb.

Once a week:

  • City of Walker
  • Town of Livingston
  • Town of Springfield
  • West Feliciana Parish
  • Livingston Parish
  • Tangipahoa Parish

Twice a week:

  • City of Zachary
  • Town of St. Francisville

According to Waste Management, “Residential customers who are collected once a week and twice a week will be serviced on their next regularly scheduled collection day.”
