WATCH: Groundbreaking ceremony for St. Francis Hall

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The start of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University campus master plan starts on Thursday, October 14, at 9:30 a.m.

A groundbreaking ceremony is taking place at 5421 Didesse Dr.

The groundbreaking is for St. Francis Hall.

These local leaders are expected to attend the groundbreaking ceremony:

  • Bishop Michael G. Duca
  • Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome
  • FranU Board Chair Craig Netterville

According to the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, “The 75,000 square foot, three-story building will be dedicated to better accommodate student learning and development at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.”
