GRETNA, LA (WGNO) – What started Tuesday morning as peaceful protests became violent in the afternoon.
Video shows protesters attempting to march up the Lafayette St. exit on the Westbank Expressway.
Dozens of officers were deployed in an effort to keep the protests off of the highway.
