JACKSON, Miss. (BRPROUD) – On Saturday, the Jackson State Tigers defeated the Southern Jaguars for the second time in 2022.

The 43-24 win gave Jackson State its second straight SWAC Championship.

The result of the game is not the only thing that fans are talking about on Monday morning.

We learned that Deion Sanders was leaving Jackson State for Colorado.

Sanders was officially named the head coach of the Buffaloes on Saturday night.

At the time, the potential move by “Coach Prime” from Jackson State to Colorado was highlighted during the halftime show at the SWAC Championship.

The Human Jukebox produced this viral moment with the help of the Southern band announcer.

The announcer said this during the band’s performance:

“Two-four-six-eight. Let’s get country like Jackson State! Hey Jackson, it sounds like you have to get ready to find a new head coach. How come your coach don’t want you no more? I told y’all he wasn’t SWAC. Coach Prime is about to be big balling.”

As of Monday morning, the viral tweet has garnered 1.3 million views.
