Tonight: We’re mostly dry and mainly clear overnight. Morning lows in the lower and mid 70s.
Thursday: One or two more showers may still be possible with most staying dry under partly cloudy skies. Highs near 87 degrees with lows near 70 degrees overnight.
Friday – Sunday: Dry weather sticks around again for Thursday and Friday with more sunshine thanks to a high-pressure system building in the region. Highs will remain in the upper-80s. A cold front will likely push through late or overnight on Friday into Saturday. This will lead to some big changes in the weather forecast. High will likely be in the upper 70s over the next few days.
Tracking the Tropics: One tropical wave has a low chance of development in the Atlantic. Neither of them poses a threat to Louisiana at this time.
