GEISMAR, La. (BRPROUD) – Two schools in Ascension Parish are having to make adjustments because of a “disruption in water service,” according to Ascension Parish Schools.

Parents, students and teachers should be aware that Dutchtown Middle School and Dutchtown Primary School are doing what is necessary to make sure everyone has access to water on Tuesday.

Bottled water will be made available and changes are being made to how the school meals will be put together.

Ascension Parish Schools said, “We will keep parents and guardians updated as progress is made on restoring water to the shared campus.”

Students are already scheduled to be let out early from both schools on Tuesday.
