BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Early voting continues for the December 10 election in Louisiana.

Residents can early vote through December 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Louisiana residents should bring an ID with them to vote (Louisiana driver’s license, Louisiana Special ID card, a generally recognized picture identification card with name and signature such as a passport, or a digital license via LA Wallet).

Statewide, voters will decide on three constitutional amendments. Click here for the Public Affairs Research Council guide to the amendments.

The race for the District 3 Public Service Commissioner race is also on the ballot featuring two Democrats. Incumbent Lambert Boissiere III is being challenged by Davante Lewis.

Voters across the region will also vote on a number of runoff elections, as well as some tax propositions.

In Zachary, the race for Mayor is now between David McDavid and Francis Nezianya.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is also asking voters to renew a 6.90 mill tax for another ten years.

East Rouge voters will also vote on a number of school board races, including the District 8 race between incumbent Republican Connie Bernard and Democrat Katie Kennison.

Bernard pulled out of the race in September of this year and said she would not be an “active candidate,” but decided to remain in the race following the results of the November 8 election.
