Polls closed on Saturday, July 11 sat 8 p.m. for the Louisiana 2020 primary election.

Registered Republicans and Democrats across the state voted in their party’s presidential primary.

In addition to the presidential primaries, a special election was held to decide who will represent the state’s 54th district which is in Jefferson and Lafourche parishes.
