BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Southern University’s NAACP chapter is offering voters free rides to the polls on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Early voting in Louisiana for the Nov. 8 election started Tuesday. Voters who need a free ride to the polls can catch a ride with Southern University NAACP this Wednesday. Rides will be leaving from the Student Union courtyard every hour from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Southern University said the early voting celebration will have music and food.

Early voting will continue through Tuesday, Nov. 1 (excluding Sunday, Oct. 30) from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. For more on early voting, click here.
