Zachary PD collecting evidence surrounding 32 vehicle burglaries on Wednesday morning

There were a lot of vehicle burglaries in Zachary this morning, according to the Zachary Police Department.

ZPD said, “our officers have processed 32 vehicle burglaries this morning.”

You heard that right, thirty-two!

Two firearms were taken during these burglaries.

The Zachary Police Department said, “none of these vehicles were forcefully entered.” 

Police would like everyone to know that evidence is being collected and submitted for these burglaries.

If you live in the area of Myrtle Hill Subdivision, East Meadow Subdivision, Noble St., Cypress St, or Nelson St. and have video surveillance please review your footage. If your video shows any suspicious activity during the evening of 08/06 or early morning of 08/07, please contact Zachary Police Department at (225)654-9393 and ask for Detective Ty Stephens.
