BATON ROUGE, La. (BRProud) — People looking for a safe, outdoor activity that is family-friendly may want to consider the upcoming pop-up art market, hosted by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and Pointe-Marie.

On July 3 from 5-7 p.m., more than twenty art vendors will line the streets of Pointe-Marie village. Organizers said attendees can also expect to see multiple food trucks, a snowball stand and live performances by Bayou Cirque and Betsy Braud in conjunction with the EBB and Flow Festival.

Some of the vendors scheduled for the market include: Handmade Pottery by Susan Rodrigue, Power Pump Girls, Inc., Chad Schoonmaker and Felicia Hunt.

Some of the food trucks include Rouge-A-Roux’s, Rock Paper Taco and Sno Biz on the Geaux.

Attendees are encouraged to wear masks and practice social distancing. Artist interested in participating may contact Amy Dighton at amy@clovercreativeagency.com or reach out to Pointe-Marie via social media. The vendor fee for artists will be waived in an effort to support those coming out of the stay-at-home order.

Pointe-Marie is located between River Rd. and Nicholson Rd., near L’Auberge Casino Hotel.
