Cinemark intends to make holidays merrier with movie freebies

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — If you’re one of those people who looks forward to the holiday season simply for the Christmas movies, Cinemark’s latest giveaway may be right up your alley.

The movie theatre company is bringing back 25 of the season’s most iconic films and offering buy one, get one free tickets to guests. Films vary by location, but Perkins Rowe offerings ‘Comeback Classics’ such as Elf (PG), Guardians of the Galaxy (PG-13) and Toy Story (G).

On top of that, Cinemark will also give away 1,000 of its Private Watch Parties.

“Now more than ever, Cinemark is thankful for its employees, guests and communities, and, as a token of our gratitude and appreciation, we will be having a cornucopia of giveaways throughout November,” said chief marketing officer Wanda Gierhart Fearing.

From now through Nov. 20, movie buffs can score a buy one, get one free deal on all of their holiday classics. Use the code THANKS2U at check-out to redeem. Offer valid on classic movies only, for the same standard showtime.

The Friendsgiving Sweepstakes gives movie lovers the chance to win a free Private Watch Party by playing a game on the Cinemark website. On Nov. 25, those interested in winning one of 1,000 parties can visit to access the game and see if they are an instant winner.

From Nov. 27-29, deal seekers who purchase a general gift card will automatically receive a $10 bonus coupon for every gift card of $50 or more that is purchased. On Cyber Monday, customers who purchase a Private Watch Party gift card will receive a free $20 bonus coupon.

Cinemark Perkins Rowe requires all guests to wear a face mask in theatres, except when eating and drinking in auditoriums.
