BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The East Baton Rouge Parish Library (EBRPL) is temporarily operating in a limited capacity, as the governor’s stay-at-home order continues. The online services however, are anything but limited, according to EBRP Library assistant director Mary Stein. Resources in the Digital Library range from education to entertainment, and all are free with a library card.

What is available for free online?
Entertainment magazines are also available in RBDigital and through Flipster Magazines. In Flipster, you’ll find current issues of InStyle, Cooking Light, Money, Essence, Shape, Real Simple, Better Homes & Gardens, Martha Stewart Living, The Atlantic and more.
Children’s videos and interactives can be found in TumbleBooks (K-3 online books), the Scholastic Flix platform, Early World of Learning, Miss HumbleBee’s Acadamy, PebbleGo, Muzzy, Sesame Street and more.
Free online tutoring help is available for students in kindergarten through college, via Homework Louisiana. One-on-one tutoring is temporarily unavailable due to the pandemic, however the skills center is still available.
Listen to music and download up to seven songs per week with your card through Freegal.
RB Digial Platform provides IndieFlix for streaming shorts, feature films and television shows.
Through Gale Courses, you can sign up to take a class on personal development and learn how to enhance your job resume, start an online business, or learn a new language.
Mango Languages gives people a chance to learn a new language.
