Women’s Collective subscription box: a box for women, by women

Savvy Southerner

If you’re looking for a new subscription box that also gives back, check out Women’s Collective. Whether its a subscription addiction you’re battling, or simply want to try your first ever subscription box during – Women’s Collective has an element of surprise that is exclusive and thoughtful at the same time.

Each subscription box is curated with home and beauty items from all female-owned companies, adding another layer of consciousness to your shopping. The items are tucked away inside the box along with each female entrepreneur’s motivational story. Additionally, 5% of proceeds from each box sold are donated to helping more women build their own brand.

Each item is curated by the founder of Women’s Collective Rashelle Whiteharris, who is also a mother of three with her own photography business. Whiteharris was inspired to begin Women’s Collective after realizing firsthand “how women, their ideas, and their products flourished in communities that valued their voices and empowered them to succeed,” according to the company’s website.

We unpacked the Spring 2020 box and found every item to be full-sized and authentic. Each came from a diverse female-owned business, whether she operated from an Etsy storefront or a bricks and mortar location.

Below is what was included in the Spring 2020 box and the value of the product based on online retail pricing.

  • Lark and Dives Vegan Card Purse in Cafe Rose ($38)
  • Nash and Jones Kelp Clay Mask ($12)
  • Bisby Gold Lid Candle ($20)
  • MadebyMaeberry Polymer Clay Statement Earrings ($34)
  • Adria Adams Co. Stickers ($7)
  • Hadron Epoch Planner ($30)

That’s a $141 value for about one-third of the cost!

We found each item truly incredible. These days, it can be overwhelming picking out a beauty product you love, especially without breaking the bank. Meanwhile, candles can be found on nearly every boutique shelf, but who has the time to find one with a truly unique smell and long burn time?

Women’s Collective solved these issues. It’s apparent that Whiteharris took the time to individually curate each item – and make sure the woman behind the brand can be an inspiration to others.

Every included item came in its original packaging meaning you can also keep them on hand as hostess gifts.

Women’s Collective is a quarterly subscription box, meaning you’ll receive it only four times a year. The company will bill you every three months at $54.95 and you may cancel anytime. You can also prepay for a year in advance and save $20.
