BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Southern University Jaguars football will host six home games for the 2023 season.
The home games include matchups against Jackson State, FAMU and Prairie View A&M.
The Jaguars open the season on the road against Alabama State University on Sept. 2 for a non-conference game, before returning home for a matchup against Jackson State on Sept. 9. Southern will face Lincoln University (CA) on Oct. 14 for homecoming.
The football team will end the season against in-state rival Grambling State in the 50th annual Bayou Classic on Nov. 25.
