BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Southern University football fans will get a chance to the new-look Jaguars on the field this weekend.

The spring football game is set for 3 p.m. Saturday at A.W. Mumford Stadium.

The Jaguars made the SWAC Championship game under first-year coach Eric Dooley but fell to Jackson State.

The Jaguars kick off the 2023 season on the road against Alabama State before returning home for a matchup against Jackson State. In total, Southern will host six home games for the 2023 season.
