Fourth Quarter:
New Orleans moves the ball into Denver territory. Timeout on the field.
Saints convert an 11-play, 77-yard drive into a touchdown with a Latavius Murray seven-yard run into the end zone. Saints lead 31-3 (6:03 remaining)
Jameis Winston enters the game for the first time Sunday, with 3:46 remaining in the game.
Third Quarter:
Broncos QB Kendall Hinton completes his first pass of the day vs the Saints defense. Two plays later, CJ Gardner-Johnson nabs his first interception of the year from Hinton to give the Who Dat the ball back. Saints still lead 17-0
Taysom is picked off after his pass is tipped into the air. A return of the interception gives Denver its best field position of the day: the 40 yard line in Saints territory.
Brandon McManus turns the turnover into points for the Broncos, with a 58-yard field goal. Saints lead 17-3
The Saints respond with a run-heavy drive capped off with a 36-yard touchdown run from RB Latavius Murray. Saints lead 24-3
2nd Quarter:
Taysom Hill gets the Saints on the scoreboard with a one-yard touchdown rush around the right end. The Who Dat chewed up 8:01 on a 13-play (including 10 straight runs), 74-yard scoring drive. Saints lead 7-0
With 5:31 left in the first half, the Saints defense has held the Broncos to just one first down on 26 offensive snaps for Denver.
Saints LB Kwon Alexander recovers a fumble from the quarterback and returns it to the 13 yard line (Denver territory).
Hill takes advantage of the great field position & once again punches it in for a Saints score, giving New Orleans a two-touchdown edge headed into halftime. Saints lead 14-0
Saints CB Janoris Jenkins intercepts Hinton with :12 remaining in the half but limps off the field after an apparent leg injury.
Hill hits a 24-yard strike to Michael Thomas to set up Wil Lutz for a 40-yard field goal. Lutz 1/1 on the day, closing out the half. Saints lead 17-0
