METAIRIE, La. – New Orleans Saints star Wide Receiver Michael Thomas is listed as “questionable” on Friday’s injury report for game one against Atlanta.

One of the biggest questions going into the season opener against the Falcons is whether Thomas even is available after he suffered a hamstring injury during the end of training camp.

Well, it was written in ink on the Saints’ unofficial depth chart posted on Tuesday that he would be wide receiver one.

However, that chart is fluid and does change, so nothing is completely written in stone, but if you’re wondering if the 2019 Offensive Player of the Year is back, here is your answer:

“I’m trying I’m trying to top that,” said Thomas.

“People probably will tell you guys that it’s not easy. We just got to make sure we take one day at a time and just perfect our craft and see what we see, what we get on Sunday,” said Thomas.

“I believe in what we’re doing. I believe in the work that we’re putting in. I believe in the conversations we’re having,” said Thomas.

He has only played in seven games over the last two seasons.

“One thing I’ve always admired about Mike is the competitor and the resilience that he possesses,” said New Orleans Saints Quarterback Jameis Winston.

“I think that’s what makes him as elite as he is,” said Winston.
