Powered by a next man up mentality, Saints keep marching on

The story line in the New Orleans Saints 31-9 win over the Arizona Cardinals was all about quarterback Drew Brees’ return to the starting lineup, but let’s not overshadow the continued dominance the Saints defense has shown week after week.

The Saints defense held the Cardinals to 40 yards rushing and kept them out of the endzone.

On offense, the Saints were missing a few key players, which included tight end Jared Cook, wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith, and running back Alvin Kamara, but they didn’t miss a beat in large part to running back Latavius Murray who rushed for 102 yards and recorded two touchdowns in the win.
