METAIRIE, LA. – The saints are in need of a wide receiver, and free agent Odell Beckham Jr. is in need of a team. The issue here is money and an unstable QB.

Can New Orleans convince OBJ to come home and take a pay cut?

Odell was born in Baton Rouge, grew up in New Orleans, attended Newman school, and of course was a star wideout at LSU. He would be welcomed with open arms.

“If he is seeing this.. Odell we’d love to have you man! We’d love to have you! Didn’t he go to school at LSU? We’ve got good food good people a good organization,” New Orleans saints defensive tackle Shy Tuttle.

“Everybody knows who he is. he isn’t a little name anywhere so we get it more from the fans than anybody else we’re trying to do our part to get Odell but he’s going to go where he feels like he’s most wanted. he’s from Louisiana so everybody wants him on their home team. we will take him. we are never going to deny anybody but this week if he comes that will be great if he doesn’t come then that’s great as well we need to work on getting prepared for Tennessee,” said New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway.

The south Louisiana native had three teams on his radar after leaving the Browns: the Chiefs, Packers, and the Saints. Odell Beckham Jr. chose none of the rumored teams. He worked out a deal with the Rams and heads to Los Angeles this week.
