NEW ORLEANS, LA (BRPROUD) – The Saints wrapped up their first full week of training camp, completing practice seven this morning inside working on two minute drills for the first time in camp.
Quarterback Drew Brees and the offense had their best performance to date.
Brees threw touchdown passes to wide receiver Michael Thomas to successfully complete both of their simulated two minute drills in 11v11.
Sean payton said that at the end of the week, they are going to Mercedes-Benz Superdome to get some scrimmages in with the lack of preseason games this year.
Rookie Cesar Ruiz also got work in at center for the second day, this time snapping to Brees.
The Saints released linebacker Nigel Bradham and placed cornerback Johnson Bademosi on injured reserve.
Rookie linebacker Zack Baun walked off the field under his own power with a trainer after chasing down Taysom Hill on a long run.
