According to the ESPN’s Adam Schefter, LSU Passing Game Coordinator Joe Brady is going back to the NFL to join the Carolina Panthers. Jordan Rodrigue of The Athletic confirmed reports saying Brady will become the Panthers’ next offensive coordinator.

Brady has been an integral part of the Tigers’ 15-0 season, helping revamp the Bayou Bengals run-heavy offense into an SEC record breaking unit. LSU broke multiple records and became the first offense with a 5,000-yard passer, two 1,000-yard receivers and a 1,000-yard rusher since Hawaii did so in 2010.

After the final AP Polls were released on January 14th, the Tigers officially beat five of the final top 10 teams by a margin of 20 points-per-game. The Panthers are assembling a staff under new head coach Matt Rhule, who is coming off an 11-3 season at Baylor.
