LSU safety Eric Monroe Transferring to Texas Tech

BATON ROUGE, LA – Saturday evening, former LSU safety Eric Monroe announced that he committed to Texas Tech University to continue his college football career.

Monroe recently entered the NCAA transfer portal according to multiple reports.

During the 2019 season, Monroe played in 12 games, recording 6 solo tackles, 1 tackle for a loss.

From 2017-19, Monroe tallied 21 total tackles and two passes defended.

Monroe redshirted his freshman year at LSU in 2016.
