DALLAS (BRPROUD) – The LSU Tigers and the Iowa Hawkeyes faced off Sunday in a battle for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. The teams went head-to-head at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
LSU won with a final score of 102-85.
Sunday’s much-anticipated game came after the Iowa Hawkeyes defeated South Carolina and LSU took down No. 1 seed Virginia Tech.
The NCAA Championship win is LSU’s first basketball national title game in school history.
