BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The LSU Women’s basketball team is headed to Dallas to play in the Final Four.

The Tigers defeated Miami in the Elite Eight Sunday, 54-42.

As LSU’s Tigers faced off against the no. 9-seeded Miami Hurricanes Angel Reese was praised for earning her 32nd double-double this season, which is the most in SEC history.

The Tigers made their way to the regional finals with Reese’s help as a standout player and during Friday’s 2023 women’s NCAA tournament’s Sweet 16, the Tigers bested Utah 66-63 with a huge assist from Alexis Morris with a pair of clutch free throws that gave the team a late lead.

Now that the Tigers have earned their spot in the final four, they will next face off against the winner of Virginia Tech and Ohio State.
