Les Miles and the rest of the LSU Tigers went to visit Baton Rouge flood victims on Thursday at Celtic Studios.

While video couldn’t be recorded while they visited their fans inside the studios, Miles and two of his players were allowed to talk about what they saw and experienced while they interacted with some of the casualties.

“It really makes you value life a lot more,” said junior quarterback Brandon Harris. “I lost my car, but, at the same time, it could’ve been a lot worse than that…just being able to come in here and put a smile on someone’s face, that’s important to me.”

For head coach Les Miles, this was another opportunity to interact with the people of Louisiana — a place he gladly calls his favorite place to live in the world.

“There are people who, frankly, in time will be out of this and back to their regular lives,” said Miles. “Thankfully, they’ll look back and see those things that were lost, as long as they’re just items, as things that can eventually be replaced.”
