BATON ROUGE, LA (BRPROUD) – “I really want to go to LSU and I remember my friends were like ‘bro you’re crazy’ because we’re from a small town of Beacon like no way you’re going,” said LSU long jumper Rayvon Grey.

Rayvon Grey always dreamed of going to LSU to play football. A change in sport turned his dream into a reality.

“One day I was in the weight room and we were doing like box jumps,” said Grey. “We were trying to see who could jump the highest on the boxes you know a little competition. I remember I cleared like, I can’t even remember, I just remember I cleared like something that would blow people’s mind like ‘yo you have to come on the track team.'”
