Report: LSU DL Tyler Shelvin opting out of 2020 season

BATON ROUGE, La. – According to Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger, LSU nose tackle Tyler Shelvin is opting out of the 2020 season.

Shelvin is redshirt junior, making him eligible for the 2021 NFL draft. The Lafayette native played all 15 games for the Tigers in 2019, totaling 39 tackles, and two pass deflections. Shelvin has 48 tackles and 1.5 sacks during his two season at LSU.
