Yankees INF DJ LeMahieu placed on 10-day IL

Former LSU slugger DJ LeMahieu, has been placed on the 10-day injured list after exiting Saturday night’s game with a sprained left thumb.

LeMahieu is currently leading the AL with a .411 batting average.

The Yankees infielder is 1 of 3 qualified players hitting over .400 this season.
