BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — U-High showed why they are the number one team in 3A on Friday night against Glen Oaks with a dominant 56-7 win at Cub Stadium.

The Cubs took just two plays from scrimmage to find the endzone on a Riley Small touchdown run. Then, star junior, Keylan Moses, followed with a safety and a one-yard touchdown run to put U-High up two scores within the first three minutes of the game.

U-High transfer quarterback Emile Picarella continued to shine in his first year in the ‘Red Stick’. The 6’2 signal caller connected on a number of long throws in the first quarter with Granville Anderson, Seth Gales, and a long touchdown pass to Zay Martin.

Glen Oaks added a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to avoid a shutout.

Next week, U-High goes on the road to face Collegiate, while Glen Oaks will host Madison Prep.
