BATON ROUGE, La – Catholic High holds off another out-of-state powerhouse in Carver High School (Alabama), 42-36.

Barry Remo II continued his strong junior year campaign running the ball for the Bears, as he scored two first half touchdowns on the ground.

Despite the Wolverines having two five-star defensive linemen in Jaquavious Russaw and James Smith, Catholic’s rushing attack remained steady all night long.

Remo’s backfield partner, quarterback Daniel Beale controlled the game for Catholic. Just before halftime he connected with LSU commit Shelton Sampson to get across midfield, and followed up with a touchdown pass to sophomore Cohen LeBlanc.
