BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Zachary looked like the number three team in the state, in a 51-0 shutout win on the road in district play vs. Scotlandville.
That notches a sixth straight win for the Broncos (6-0), as they head into a matchup next week against a major contender in 4-5A — the Central Wildcats.
It was an offensive show in the first half, with quarterback Hudson Spangler spreading the ball around to his big targets on the outside: John Clark, Tyson George, and TreyDez Green.
Green even had a one-handed touchdown catch.
David Brewerton’s squad still has Central, then Liberty, and then a regular season finale against Catholic High left on the schedule.
