ZACHARY, La. (BRPROUD) — Zachary took care of business against Liberty with a 54-16 win on Friday night.
The Broncos let all their horses out of the stable early in the game with five rushing touchdowns by three different players. Senior Kam Thomas scored the first two, junior Tralan Septs added another pair and fellow junior Nate James added another before the end of the quarter.
Liberty started off slow and did not score in the first quarter. The Patriots managed to score 16 points and avoided a shutout.
Up next, Zachary travels to Memorial Stadium for a huge 5A District 4 matchup with Catholic. Liberty, now 2-8 on the season, will face Central next week.
