WEST MONROE, La (BRPROUD) — #4 Zachary went on the road and is coming home with a big statement win, 48-7, over #7 West Monroe in week five.
The Broncos were cooking early when Hudson Spangler found Tyson George deep downfield for the game’s first score to go up 7-0.
Zachary extended its lead to 14-0 in the first when Spangler fired a strike to LSU commit Trey’Dez Green.
West Monroe did cut the Zachary lead in half, however, the Broncos poured it on.
The Broncos move to 4-0 with the win in week five.
