ST. AMANT, La. (BRPROUD) — ‘The Pit’ in St. Amant is one of the hardest places to play in Louisiana and the #5 Gators showed why after a dominant 31-3 win over #28 Ouachita Parish.
St. Amant started strong with two first quarter touchdowns. Kyron Craft took a six-yard handoff into the end zone on the opening drive and Cooper Babin hit Jermichael Millien for a 70-yard score on the ensuing Gators possession.
Up next, the Gators will face #21 Mandeville. The Skippers are 7-4 on the year after defeating #12 Sam Houston in the opening round.
