BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — #6 Parkview Baptist made quick work of Mentorship Academy in a 49-0 shutout win Friday.
The Eagles didn’t waste any time getting into the endzone with Brant Melancon returning the opening kickoff to the house to put Parkview Baptist up, 7-0.
Parkview Baptist continued to overpower the Sharks. On their next drive, the Eagles’ Mason Warren found the endzone to make it, 14-0.
The win moves Parkview Baptist to 4-0 in District 6-3A and 7-1 overall, while Mentorship falls to 0-5 in district play and 0-8 overall.
