ZACHARY, La. (BRPROUD) — No. 6 seed Zachary rolled to a 55-14 win over No. 27 seed Barbe in Non-Select Division I Bi-District playoffs.
The Broncos started fast, scoring on their first drive of the game with a pass from quarterback Hudson Spangler to Tyson George.
The Zachary defense put on a show in the first quarter, tallying three takeaways in the quarter alone.
The Broncos offense continued to work the field, scoring twice before the end of the first quarter to lead, 21-0.
Zachary will now face the No. 11 seed Salmen, out of Slidell, in the second round.
