BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Catholic scored four first half touchdowns and shutout Woodlawn, 35-0, at Memorial Stadium.
Bears senior quarterback Daniel Beale connected with Cohen Leblanc for a 22-yard touchdown to start the scoring in the first quarter. Later in the first, running back Barry Remo carried several Panther defenders into the endzone to extend the Catholic lead to, 14-0.
Beale added a pair of touchdown passes in the second quarter to Brooks Wright and Amari Clayton.
Catholic improves to 5-3 under first-year head coach Hudson Fuller, and tonight marked their fourth straight win. Woodlawn falls to 3-6, with just one win in their last five games.
Up next, the Bears travel to Scotlandville, and Woodlawn goes on the road to Central.
