BATON ROUGE, La — #8 Madison Prep used all 60 minutes and then some to shut out #9 St. Louis Catholic to win 6-0 in overtime.

Saints quarterback James Reina moved the ball downfield on the opening drive. Yet instead of trying for a field goal on fourth down inside Madison Prep’s 25 yard line, Catholic opted for a 4th down try that was thwarted in the backfield by Treylan James.

The Chargers found success with Tony Lewis on the ground throughout the game, yet penalties and an inability to pass the ball limited the openings for the running back.

In overtime, Lewis took a 3rd and goal handoff into the end zone to walk it off 6-0.

Madison Prep moves on to face St. Thomas Moore in the state playoffs quarterfinals.
