BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Catholic High Bears came into this week’s game in unfamiliar territory — no longer ranked in the Top 10 in 5A, but the Bears bounced back with a big performance against Northside, 42-10.
In fact, the Cur Dogs raced out to a 42-0 lead before the halftime break, and the two sides agreed to a rolling clock for the third and fourth quarters.
CHS was dominant on both sides of the ball, even scoring on defense with a scoop and score in the first quarter.
Catholic High is now 3-2 on the season and will start district play next week against Liberty Magnet.
