DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (BRPROUD) — Franklinton drove down I-12 to the new Yellow Jacket Stadium and had their hands full from the start against Denham Springs.
Returner Masion Vorsie took the opening kickoff to the house for the Yellowjackets, but it was negated by a holding penalty. On the ensuing play, running back RJ Johnson ran for a 65-yard touchdown.
From that point on the game was all Denham Springs. The Yellowjackets rolled over the Demons 53-28.
Denham Springs improves to 3-1 on the season. Next week, the Yellowjackets host St. Thomas More.
