BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — In only his second head coaching job, Hudson Fuller takes over a South Louisiana powerhouse in 5-A Catholic High. It was a homecoming for Coach Fuller after spending the past three seasons at West Feliciana where he finished with a 24-11 record and coming off a playoff semifinals appearance. He was the offensive coordinator for the Bears from 2017-2019 before taking over at WFHS.
Our Football Friday night game of the week is No. 5 Catholic (5-A) vs No. 1 U-High (3-A). There are ties between both of these programs. Coach Fuller will face his Alma Matter for the first time as a head coach. As for Andy Martin, the Cubs head coach, he was a defensive coordinator at Catholic.
Both teams are looking to bounce back after week two losses. There will be plenty of Division I talent on the field, so get your popcorn ready and arrive early to Cub Stadium because it’s expected to be a full house.
