BATON ROUGE (BRPROUD) — The district tile for 6-4A is on the line Friday night as Plaquemine travels to St. Francisville for a highly anticipated matchup between the Green Devils and fifth ranked, West Feliciana.

Last year, this contest was a battle between the unbeatens when West Feliciana handed the Green Devils a 43-22 loss on their home turf, to win the district championship. It was West Feliciana’s first season playing up in 4A. This year, it looks a bit different with two first-year head coaches in Devin Ducote and Donald Williams.

The Saints sole loss came in week two against 5A Central, and they have won seven straight since then, staying perfect in district play. If Plaquemine wins, they’ll share the district title with West Feliciana. If the Saints win, they’ll win the district outright.
