U-High takes down Brusly, 42-6

High School Football

BATON ROUGE, LA. – U-High dominated the Panthers at Brusly High School 42-6 on Friday.

First half of the matchup was mainly defense. Quarterback Blake Abney threw a long ball intended for Edan Stagg, but was broken up by Xavier Orgeron.

Brusly QB Sammy Daquano was sacked by freshman Keylan Moses, giving the momentum to U-High.

The first score of the game didn’t come until the second quarter when Daquano connected with Josef Hodoh to bring U-High in the redzone.

Running back Derrick “rodeo” Graham Jr. ran it in for the touchdown, ultimately leading to a Cubs win.
