WALKER, La — Despite a shaky start to the third quarter, Walker beat St. Amant 35-7.

The Gators entered the second half on a 8-quarter scoreless streak. A 5 yard touchdown run by Kyron Croft ended the drought and made it a 14-7 game.

The very next play, Walker’s Troy Sylve’s pass bounced off the hands of Jacory Thomas, and was picked off by Damon Smith. Two snaps later, the Wildcats took it back with a Jeremiah Dorsey interception.

On the following possession, Sylve and Thomas connected for a 50 yard touchdown pass. The Wildcats never looked back the rest of the game.

Up next, Walker travels to Denham Springs and St. Amant hosts Live Oak.
