BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Our own Chessa Bouche interviewed then Baylor head coach Kim Mulkey in July of 2020 and asked if the Louisiana native would ever come back to the state.
Back in July I interviewed Kim Mulkey about her son @KramerR3 & him waiting on the call up. Little did I know then that she’d be Callin’ Baton Rouge now.— Chessa Bouche (@chessabouche) April 26, 2021
I asked @KimMulkey if she thought she’d retire at Baylor….

Well, we found out on Monday that the answer is yes.
Tickfaw native and new women’s head basketball coach, Kim Mulkey, is in the “red stick.”
Mulkey arrived in Baton Rouge on Monday morning and was greeted by other LSU coaches including LSU men’s basketball coach, Will Wade.
The head coach of the LSU Tigers baseball team was also there to greet Mulkey.
The 2022 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament begins in March of 2022.
