NEW YORK, NY (BRPROUD.com) – Jan. 11, 2021 – The National Basketball Association games scheduled for tonight between the New Orleans Pelicans and Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Arena and tomorrow between the Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls at United Center have been postponed in accordance with the league’s Health and Safety Protocols.

The NBA and NBPA will be meeting today about modifying the league’s Health and Safety Protocols.

(Press release provided by NBA Communications).

The Pelicans matchup at Dallas has been postponed after four Mavericks players were placed on the league’s COVID-19 protocol list. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Mavs won’t have the eight players necessary to play Monday’s 7:30 p.m. tipoff against the Pels.

Tonight would’ve been the first matchup of a seven-game road trip for New Orleans. The Pelicans next game will be Wednesday at the Los Angeles Clippers.
