BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The LSU Tigers climbed two spots from No. 14 to No. 12 in the latest AP Poll released Sunday following a 41-14 win at Mississippi State.

The Tigers dominated the Bulldogs in their first SEC Conference game of the season. LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels shined 30 to 35 for 361 yards and two touchdowns. Daniels also rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns.

Wide receiver Malik Nabers had a career day against Mississippi State, catching 13 passes for 239 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, the LSU defense held the Bulldogs to just 201 yards of offense and 94 rushing yards. The Tigers also racked up four sacks and seven tackles for loss in the game.

LSU also increased one spot in the USA Today Coaches Poll from No. 14 to No. 13.

The No. 12 Tigers will host Arkansas on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m.
