BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — LSU Gymnastics will embark on its new season at the start of 2024 and there is a lot of excitement building in Baton Rouge as it was announced on Wednesday, Nov. 15 that season tickets are sold out for the upcoming season.

According to a news release from LSU Athletics, the LSU Gymnastics program set a new record for season tickets sold with over 8,000. The mark breaks the record that was set last year of 7,400 season tickets sold.

“Our fan base continues to show why this is the best place in the country to be a collegiate athlete,” said Jay Clark, head coach for LSU Gymnastics. “Our team is doing well, and our fans see that, and I think it’s a testament to the momentum that we have going right now. We are so grateful to our fan base for their loyalty and for the enthusiasm in which they come out. The PMAC is truly a unique environment unlike anything else in college gymnastics.”

According to LSU Athletics, in 2023, the Tigers set the highest attendance average in the SEC (12,075). LSU has also finished in the top four in the nation for the past six years in average attendance.

The Tigers are coming off an appearance at the NCAA Championship in Fort Worth, TX, and will be looking to get back to the Championship Final in the 2024 season.

LSU Gymnastics will be hosting its annual Gymnastics 101 in the PMAC on Saturday, Dec. 16.

The 2024 season for LSU Gymnastics will kick off on Friday, January 5 in their first meet of the year against Ohio State in the PMAC.
